Inducing Primitive

نویسنده

چکیده

We study conditions on a C∗-dynamical system (A,G,α) under which induction of primitive ideals (resp. irreducible representations) from stabilizers for the action of G on the primitive ideal space Prim(A) give primitive ideals (resp. irreducible representations) of the crossed product A⋊α G. The results build on earlier results of Sauvageot [17] and others, and will correct a (possibly overly optimistic) statement of the first author in [5]. In an appendix, the first author takes the opportunity to fill a gap in the proof of another result in [5].

"Experiments on Embryonic Induction III. A Note on Inductions by Chick Primitive Streak Transplanted to the Rabbit Embryo" (1934), by Conrad Hal Waddington

Conrad Hal Waddington?s ?Experiments on Embryonic Induction III,? published in 1934 in the Journal of Experimental Biology, describes the discovery that the primitive streak [7] induces the mammalian embryo. Waddington?s hypothesis was that a transplanted primitive streak [7] could induce neural tissue in the ectoderm [8] of the rabbit [9] embryo. The primitive streak [7] defines the axis of an...

Interactions between Wnt and Vg1 signalling pathways initiate primitive streak formation in the chick embryo.

The posterior marginal zone (PMZ) of the chick embryo has Nieuwkoop centre-like properties: when transplanted to another part of the marginal zone, it induces a complete embryonic axis, without making a cellular contribution to the induced structures. However, when the PMZ is removed, the embryo can initiate axis formation from another part of the remaining marginal zone. Chick Vg1 can mimic th...

Epithelial scatter factor and development of the chick embryonic axis.

Scatter factor, a recently characterised protein secreted by certain embryonic fibroblasts, affects cultured epithelial by increasing cell motility, the breakdown of cell junctions and cell scattering. The process of gastrulation in higher vertebrate embryos, during which the primitive streak forms, involves an epithelial-to-mesenchymal transformation resembling the effects of the factor on cul...

Primitive Ideal Space of Ultragraph $C^*$-algebras

In this paper, we describe the primitive ideal space of the $C^*$-algebra $C^*(mathcal G)$  associated to the ultragraph $mathcal{G}$. We investigate the structure of the closed ideals of the quotient ultragraph $  C^* $-algebra  $C^*left(mathcal G/(H,S)right)$ which contain no nonzero set projections and then we characterize all non gauge-invariant primitive ideals. Our results generalize the ...

Developmental Changes of the Notochord and its Inductive Effects on the Adjacent Embryonic Germ Layers with Regard to the Role of Glycoconjugates

Notochord is an axial structure derived of embryonic mesoderm and in addition to structural supporting role in inducing nearby germinal layers, it has a basic role in formation of organs such as vertebral column, axial vessels, neural tube and primitive gut. This organ undergoes essential changes during the development process. First, arises from the primitive node and terms notochordal process...
